What began as the first official Kodak Color Lab in the metro has grown into a full-service photo and print destination serving families, athletes, schools, and businesses across the region. Seven decades later, we're still driven by the same thing: a genuine love for photography and the people behind it.
We've always believed great photography should be accessible, and that the experience of working with us should feel as good as the final product. That's the Linhoff standard.
Linhoff Photo was established in Edina in 1954 by Rosalie and Joe Linhoff, who built the first official Kodak Color Lab in the Twin Cities Metro. After years of growth, the business became an icon of the 44th & France neighborhood before moving to its current home on Excelsior Boulevard in St. Louis Park.
In 2022, new owner Matt Vollum took the helm with a focus on innovation — modernizing processes while keeping the local, personal touch customers have always expected.
Today, Linhoff is a true one-stop shop. Beyond our full-service printing and digitizing, we've expanded into sports, dance, portraiture, and event photography — plus a growing capacity for banners, signs, awards, printed booklets, and more.
Whatever you need, we'll find a way to make it happen.
